CROSS has recently issued an alert that building smoke vents may be rendered inoperable by building work. After it received several reports of AOVs being made inoperable, including when façade materials are being replaced, CROSS has published the report with advice for those engaged in ensuring building fire safety, like fire risk assessors, are aware and take suitable actions.
